Coffee and Alcohol

White Chocolate Cappucino

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 oz light cream
  • 4 oz espresso
  • 1 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp brandy
  • 1 tsp creme de cacao
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla
  • Whipped cream

PREPARATION:
Heat cream until almost boiling. Remove from heat and add chocolate. Whisk until melted and smooth. Stir in liqueurs and vanilla. Return to low heat and whisk until foamy. Pour espresso into a large mug, then spoon chocolate mixture over the espresso. Top with whipped cream.
Serves 1


Espresso Martini

INGREDIENTS:

  • 7 oz vodka
  • 1/2 oz Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz espresso
  • 4 coffee beans

PREPARATION:
In a cocktail shaker, shake vodka with crushed ice for about 30 seconds. Add Kahlua and espresso and give another couple of shakes to combine. Let stand for a minute, to fully chill through. Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses, and add 2 coffee beans to each glass.
Serves 2


Irish Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup hot coffee
  • 1 1/2 oz Irish Whisky
  • 1 tbs sugar

PREPARATION:
Mix together in a mug and top with whipped cream.
Serves 1

Spanish Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 oz Tia Maria
  • 1/2 oz Rum
  • 1 cup hot coffee

PREPARATION:
Mix together in a mug and top with whipped cream.
Serves 1


Keoki Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup hot coffee
  • 1 oz Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz Brandy
  • Whipped Cream

PREPARATION:
Mix together in a mug and top with whipped cream.
Serves 1

Jamaican Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 cups hot coffee
  • 60ml Tia Maria
  • 30ml white rum
  • 150ml thick cream, lightly whipped

PREPARATION:
Mix the coffee and liqueurs in a saucepan and heat through. Serve into brandy glasses and topped with cream.
Serves 6


Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Spiced Americano

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 oz boiling water
  • 2 oz espresso
  • 2 oz sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg

PREPARATION:
Mix the sugar into the boiling water until dissolved. Add cinnamon and nutmeg, and stir. Pour espresso slowly over the spiced water, layering the espresso. Top with whipped cream.
Serves 1


Iced Drinks

Iced Latte

  • 2 oz Espresso
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup milk

PREPARATION:
Pour the ice and milk into a tall glass mug. Brew fresh espresso, and pour it over the ice and milk. Froth the remaining milk with your espresso machine, and top off the drink with a thin layer of milk-foam.

Iced Mint Mocha

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz Espresso
  • 1/2 oz Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 cup crushed iced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 oz mint extract
  • Whipped Cream
  • Crushed Mint Leaves

PREPARATION:
Brew a regular double espresso. Coat the bottom of a mug with 1/2 oz of Chocolate Syrup. Fill the mug with the crushed iced. Pour milk and mint extract over the ice. Add espresso. Add whipped cream and garnish with crushed mint leaves. Serve.


Iced Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup coffee
  • 1 cup ice

PREPARATION:
Brew fresh, put in fridge. Serve cold over ice. Make fresh every morning, use leftover from your morning pot, but refrigerate right away.

Iced Espresso Shake

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz Espresso
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 cup crushed iced
  • 1 cup milk

PREPARATION:
Brew a regular double espresso. Mix sugar with espresso, stir. Pour milk over ice. Pour espresso and sugar over the milk. Shake the mixture. Serve.


Orange Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500 ml Orange Juice
  • 6 strong espresso ice cubes
  • 4 tbl spoons heavy unpasteurized cream
  • 4 tbl spoons sugar

PREPARATION:
Find the heaviest unpasteurized cream, and mix the ingredients in a blender. Blend thoroughly. Serves 6 cups.
